Daily tests: day 13

This morning’s test results were:

• ammonia: 0.1-0.2 ppm
• nitrite: over 5 ppm
• nitrate: 5-10 ppm

I think I will try a much bigger water change. I also received the first lot of the plants last night and, rather impatiently, added them to the aquarium. I am still not going to use any light because the ambient room lighting should be enough to keep them alive for the moment.
